I like products like this that I can actually use. I had my ipod with me last weekend on a family camping trip and I was able to rig up a nice tight clothes line with the rolling hitch. The kids were impressed!

Great concept, but none of the videos that demonstrate how to tie knots will display on my iPhone (brand new).

Now it works on my new iPhone - thanks so much for the update. This thing is awesome.

This app is awesome! Ive been using it every day since installed. Could have some more knots, but no complaints whatsoever. Worth every cent!

Unless you already know all the knots, you have to see the whole video to know how the final will look like. I would put a small representation of the knot in the selection list, and a large one before the video begins.

Well it didnt comp. with my ipod and i have the latest touch update so i just took my money. O well

I would lke to see updates that add more knots to the list. All in all a great app.

Great aid to practice knots for boating and fishing. Ive already expanded my limited. Functions for controling the playback speed would be welcome.

I am a boy scout but i didnt know how to tie any of the knots i needed to know so i bought this app and in one day i could tie every single scouting knot in a proficient speed

Great for boaters, hikers and scouts! it does what it says and does it very very well. Cut and dry, very easy to understand videos! Lashing & knots!!

It is a good app with very good visuals and tutorial, but needs more knots. Currently only 6 fishing knots and 33 in all. More Knots more stars.

Very good videos on how to actually tie knots but new user interface is horrendous. Difficult to search for knots, cant mark favorite knots. Unless UI changes its about time to replace Knot Time.

Ive used this app a lot since I first got it. The videos are clear and easy to use, and the knot selection is great. I have to agree that the latest interface is not so good. I appreciate having a picture of the knot with the description, but the slider thing doesnt work very well.

I actually would have been happy to just have illustrated instruction. The videos make it nearly impossible to fail at learning to tie these knots, even though i may only use a few of them over the course of the next 60 years.

I have a couple other knot apps and this is just excellent. The videos are simple, easy to follow and having a voice over is even better. I also like the info about how the different knots can be used. I tried the lite version first and was hooked. Please add all the fishing knots in future updates. Oh and could you please consider tying the fishing knots with a bigger line? That is because it was hard to see the final loop-thru on the trilene knot. Which, btw, is one I had not seen before. It looks stronger than an improved clinch. Thank you for such good app, NICE work!

Having book with graphics is great but sometime you learn more by watching others. With this app, you look up the type of knot you might need and play a video with someone explaining and showing how its done, just like in the boy scouts or father and son. My wife loved the app and learned how to tie two knots like a pro in no time! App will come in handy on the road, camping or securing a Christmas tree to your car. Con: Videos use up more battery life. So I would like to see the text and graphics added for each knot. Then you have a choose of which to use. For the price, its a handyman must!

Needs more knots. Other apps have better knots but this app has the best demonstration of how to tie said knots. Maybe the creator of this app does not know how to tie those other apps??? Give me another 15-25 knots and Ill pay more money and give 5 stars.

As an avid diver & former sailor I can tell you this is one of the best Knot apps Ive seen. Very clear and concise. The videos & dialogue with each knot are excellent tutorials sure to have you tying and learning new knots in no time.
