Knot Time App Reviews

Im learning to sail and have been frustrated with knot tying drawing instructions and even animations. The videos in Knot Time,with narration, is just like having a patient friend teaching you. The Lite version taught me so quickly and easily that I upgraded to the Full version. I also had a technical glitch with an update to iOS 4.2.1 and the developer was right on top of it with the information I needed.

Lots of knotts, but they dont tell you what you could fisically tie them to. They dont even show a little pole to where you could apply the knotts to. Dissappointing.

Great Knot App. In your next update could you include the Uni Knot and the Palomar Knot? Keep up the great work!

Ok. Im cheap. I got the free version first. I liked it so much, that I bought this version. Did I really need all the extra knots in this version? No, not really, but I did want to compensate the person who made a really great app and then gave it away free. And yes, the extra knots are entertaining. This version works on iPhone and iPad and I look at it regularly. It is a very nice reminder tool. I looked at it today when I was tying down a kayak ( iPhone). Get it and enjoy.

This is a good app for the novice and experienced alike. The videos make it easy to follow the progression of the knot. I really like the app and would purchase it again. It would be nice if more knots were added. The included knots are all great knots to know, but there are a number of other knots that should / could be added. Hopefully the developer will add a few more in the future.

This app should be on every iPhone. I use it all the time as a utility when I need to tie a rope. Some knots you may only tie a few times in your life, but when you need them, only that knot will do. This app fills the gap in having to memorize knots. Well done.

Excellent instruction that is easy to follow along with. Each knot has a video demonstration, as well as a short description of what the knot is, and may not be, good for. Makes it so much easier to learn when you can simply replay the video again and again! Would love an update with more knots!

This was a really great app but the video clips that show how to tie the knots will not work on my new iPhone 6 plus. The app freezes instead.

I have a iPhone 6+ and upgraded to the full product because the lite version didnt work. Now Ive wasted my money and want a refund.

Recently tried to use the app & it wont even open. First time trying to use it since the last iOS update. Before it stopped working, I found this app to be extremely helpful. The videos are great & directions are very clear. Love the app - hope theres an update soon to correct the issues stopping me from using it...

App wont open. When you tap on it it tries to load and crashes. How did this get by Apple? I want my $4 back.

I love this app, its great!!! Thiugh, it NEEDS to be upgraded to work on the Latest OS for iPhone 6. PLEASE upgrade it. Its a very good app but now I can not seem to get it to work properly. It quits right away. It wont open.

Its a great knot tying app. It does not however work with iPhone 6+, it wont even launch, definitely needs to be updated to work with the later iPhones. Please do this sooner than later!!!! I would have hated it five stars but now with iPhone 6+ 1 star.

Paid for the full version, have the latest version of Apple 9.2, app doesnt work. Crashes when launched. Please fix ASAP and Ill give 5 stars. Otherwise you wont get more than one.

I used to love this app but since getting an iPhone 6 it will not work. Ive tried reinstalling but nothing seems to help.

Please put out an update so this app will work on iPhone 6. I love this app, but it will not even open on my iPhone 6, so Im stuck using it on my old iPod touch. The biggest problem with that is that is a wifi dependent device. Issue an update, and Ill happily write 3 five star reviews within a week of installing the update.
